Robby is a board-certified, results-driven and solutions-focused nurse leader located in the San Francisco Bay Area focusing in areas of oncology and ambulatory care. He holds a proven record of success in clinical quality & practice, compliance, strategic planning and program implementation within Hospital Systems and the Tech industry.

His work has transpired renowned organizations such as Stanford Health Care, Kaiser Permanente, and Zuckerberg San Francisco General. Robby received his Bachelor of Science in Public Health [Ecology] from the University of Nevada, Reno and Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco. He has taken advanced

studies at the Institute of Healthcare Improvement’s Patient Safety and Quality Executive program, certification as an Oncology Patient Navigator from George Washington University and is a graduate of an advanced Nursing Fellowship program with Stanford’s School of Medicine.


Robby’s experience includes developing solutions that streamline evidenced-based practice with LEAN methods to ensure equitable care in health care delivery. He is dedicated to performance improvement by maintaining quality in standards of practice.

Having experience across the healthcare continuum, Robby has supported several projects that include:

 

  • Developed and implemented a quality improvement initiative for one of the largest nationally recognized
    managed care organizations to enhance safe handling practices in Northern California

     

  • Achieving national FQHC accreditation for a nonprofit 501(c)3 grass roots community organization in the 
    Tenderloin of San Francisco

     

  • Bringing a nationally recognized San Francisco-based Health care technology corporation and it's friendly-PC 
    structure with 1,000+ to the fringe of HIPAA compliance

     

  • Launching end-to-end multidisciplinary platform-agnostic digital health programs in the telemedicine
    marketplace nationwide

     

  • Enhancing regional standards to ensure nursing and patient safety goals for chemotherapy administration
    and waste management in a six-month pilot

     

  • Improving NDNQI quality indicators across ambulatory infusion for nursing access to executive leadership by 44%
     

  • Aiding in the initial designation process to acquire QOPI certification in 2023 for an infusion service line
     

  • Supporting and  co-sponsoring a 5th MAGNET Redesignation application with focus on ambulatory care and
    cancer services

     

  • Launched a grief resolution initiative using research & EBP design to guide best practices into a Stanford Health Care executive sponsored program for oncology nurses

Spending over 10 years in oncology nursing additional to his 5 years in the public health arena in San Francisco, Robby has spent countless hours dedicated to serving

vulnerable populations around the Bay Area of all demographics. His speciality in nursing has been spent caring for Oncology patients and their families, developing

programs, services and education curriculum to help navigate them through their cancer journey. Robby has found his passion and purpose in being a substance matter

expert in a variety of areas in health care to offer continuous quality and strive to be the safety net for many who may fall through.
